Job Title: Health Program Analyst II - Emergency Appointments Homelessness

The County of Los Angeles, CA is seeking a highly skilled Health Program Analyst II to join our team in addressing the homelessness crisis. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing programs to support individuals experiencing homelessness.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Health Program Analyst II to work directly with individuals experiencing homelessness. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health or public health program analysis and experience working with vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement programs to support individuals experiencing homelessness
  • Conduct analysis of mental health or public health programs to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with community-based organizations and stakeholders to develop and implement effective solutions
  • Provide technical assistance and support to program staff and contractors
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community-based organizations and government agencies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Counseling, Health Care Administration/Management, Public Administration, Behavioral Sciences, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a closely related field
  • Four years of full-time experience in the analysis of mental health or public health programs, two years of which must have been at the level of Health Program Analyst I
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Counseling, Health Care Administration/Management, Public Administration, Behavioral Sciences, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a closely related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Counseling, Health Care Administration/Management, Public Administration, Behavioral Sciences, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a closely related field
  • Experience working in a public health or mental health setting
  • Knowledge of community-based organizations and stakeholders
  • Experience developing and implementing programs to support individuals experiencing homelessness
