As a Manager Technical Coordinator, youâll play a critical role in bridging the gap between all technical teams and project management. Your focus will be on ensuring efficient and effective implementation of new equipment and building installation projects. Youâll supervise all technical activities, maintain project documentation, and facilitate communication between technical workstreams and all other departments. This role will be involved in new capital investments ranging between $250-750MM. Reports to Project Director, Project Tiger.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Ensure technical deliverables align with overall project objectives and timelines through the lifecycle of design through validation and product launch
  • Facilitate communication between internal and external project teams to execute project specifications and requirements.
  • Ensures project plans and designs are in accordance with technical standards
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges
  • Evaluates project constraints and proposing appropriate solutions
  • Works mostly independently without day-to-day direction.
  • Complies with all regulations and standards for Quality, Environmental, Health, Safety, Finance, and other governance areas as applicable.
  • Ensures quality and effectiveness of key results of major projects within function through sound design, early risk assessments, and implementation of fallback strategies.
  • Develops scenarios to give management a set of viable alternatives; relates risk and gain to critical success factors and recommends action, e.g. evaluates risk/reward ratios and Return-on-Investment (ROI) projections.
  • Assist in resource allocation to optimze productivity and budget adherence.
  • Coach and mentor staff to assure the best possible business decision is made in consideration for the technical risk and business strategy
  • Implement industry best practices and standards for technical operations.
  • Develop standard processes, tools and templates that support the planning and execution of large capital projects
  • Conduct regular project updates/reviews to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including tracking system updates and technical procedures
  • Work with Validation, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance teams to aligned philosophies and procedures.
  • Ensures application of validation methodology is applied through the program lifecycle for development of URS, FRS, DOEâs, and IOQâs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOUâLL BRING 

Required: 

  • Bachelorâs Degree in Engineering, science, or closely related discipline is required. Post-graduate education, degree, or applicable certifications are preferred.
  • 10 yrs. or more experience in capital project engineering or project management.
  •  Possesses a strong technical knowledge and application of commissioning and validation concepts, practices, and procedures for Nutrition based products.

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Project management certification (preferred)
  • Travel 50%

** Please note home office is Columbus, OH but current project work will be executed in Tipp City, OH**



The base pay for this position is $109,300.00 â $218,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
