Job Overview

Responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle: planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery. Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators. Manages day to day operations of the project. Prepares and presents updates for senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Defines project scope, deliverables, timeline, and success criteria for enterprise-wide projects
  • Oversees execution of project deliverables alongside project team members
  • Creates and updates a dynamic project schedule throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identifies and escalates issues effectively; ensures contingency plans are in place
  • Identifies interdependencies with internal departments, consultants, and vendors
  • Manages appropriate resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Leads progress meetings with project team members
  • Routinely and succinctly provides project status to senior management and project sponsors
  • Optimizes project planning tools and technology to plan, develop, and monitor phases of plan
  • Ensures effective communication and change management principles are followed
  • Develops and maintains relationships with departmental and senior management
  • Ensures decisions, outcomes, and policies are appropriately documented and organized
  • Develops comprehensive project budget; monitors, tracks, and reports on related expenditures
  • Adheres and helps the team to adhere and comply with relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
  • Provide continuous process improvement
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management or a related field
  • 2+ years in project management in the banking and financial sector or four years in project management or related work experience
  • Leadership and team management experience

  • Ability to appropriately prioritize goals and tasks

  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office suite with proficiency in Excel
  • Proficient in project management software solutions
  • Ability to keep executive management and the project team informed of the progress of the initiative

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
