Job Purpose

Searching for a Controls Supervisor that will take on a supervisory and leadership role of a staff of Controls Technicians across 3 shifts. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and influence a team of control specialists across 3 shifts
  • Mentor and coach control specialists.
  • Design, program, troubleshoot and modify controls for new machines and retrofits with the latest control’s technology.
  • Program HMI’s, vision systems, and robotics
  • Program Allen Bradley RSLogix5000 and Siemens S7 Controls and older Allen Bradley PLC Systems
  • Make electrical drawing changes in AutoCAD
  • Programming and integration of Fanuc Robotics
  • Order appropriate components for projects
  • Assist in solving problems involving process and control systems
  • Lead projects from concept through installation
  • Work along side Machine Designers and Project Managers to ensure projects are accurate and completed to expectations

 

Education & Competencies Required/Preferred:

  • Must possess a positive attitude and a strong work ethic with a passion to deliver the expected results
  • 7+ years' experience working with PLC's 
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical controls or equivalent work experience
  • Leadership and management experience
