Primary Responsibilities:

  • The Production Supervisor is accountable and responsible for managing departmental production, safety, environmental controls, developing production employees, quality, and departmental cost controls.
  • Ensure the health and welfare of the people
  • Follow Company Code of Conduct, plant labor agreement, and plant rules
  • Protect Company's assets from loss or damage
  • Oversee team members assigned work to meet Safety, Quality, OEE, and Delivery Targets
  • Ensure team members are following Standardized Work and have coaching support
  • Ensure team members complete 5s/TPM activities and Workplace Organization Standards are being maintained
  • Ensure a smooth and seamless shift transition
  • Responsible for record integrity (documentation, shift end paperwork, training matrix, overtime charts)

  • Position Education/Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years production supervisory experience
  • Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment, preferred
  • Ability to work any shift, weekends and all scheduled overtime.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts
  • MS Office tools fluency, especially Excel
  • Self-directed, detail oriented, reliable, and strong initiative
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with leaders, peers, and others as required
