    Job Description

    The Project Manager will report directly into the Director of Manufacturing and be responsible for:

  • Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Develop and implement project plans, including defining project goals, timelines, resources, and deliverables.Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless project execution.Identify and mitigate project risks, and proactively address issues as they arise.Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and processes.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Masters is a plus)7+ years of experience in project engineering, with at least 3 years in a project management roleEngineering from project concept through implementationStrong knowledge of project management methodologies and toolsProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectivelyExperience in the consumer goods manufacturing industry is highly preferredContinuous improvement and lean six sigma experiencePMP certification or equivalent is a plus
