Evan Fall Protection is seeking a Project Engineer/Project Manager to join our team.

About Us:

Evan Fall Protection is a leading provider of engineered fall protection systems, providing the highest quality products along with reliable services.

We are a design-build specialty contracting firm that specializes in designing, supplying and installing custom engineered fall protection systems: horizontal lifelines, roof anchors, trolley rails, façade access, window washing, etc.

Our customer base includes heavy manufacturing, federal, state and local government entities, aircraft hangars, entertainment facilities and sporting complexes, major universities, commercial office building owners and more.

We are a subsidiary of the SpanSet Group, a large multi-national company headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. Evan Fall Protection is headquartered in Sanford, North Carolina with engineering offices in New England and sales offices in Denver, Los Angeles and St. Louis.

Job Description:

The Project Engineer/Project Manager will help grow our business by visiting prospect’s facilities, assessing the customer’s requirements, and providing sales estimates and proposals. Once the order is received, they will be required to help with design, drafting, scheduling, procurement, billing and other project management duties. Position will work under the supervision of the Vice President- Design and Construction.

Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Developing fall protection solutions for clients.
  • Responding to bid documents.
  • Making site visits when required for both quotation and design work, when required
  • Preparing cost estimates and proposal letters.
  • Prepare system layouts and details using AutoCAD.
  • Review approval drawings with customers.
  • Manage project to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project budget.
  • Coordinate procurement and scheduling for projects they manage.
  • Coordinate construction logistics with crews, suppliers, and equipment
  • Support installation crews during construction

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • BS degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis. At Least 5 years experience.
  • Construction related experience a plus
  • Professional Engineering license a plus or the ability to be registered within six months.
  • High level of proficiency with AutoCAD, spreadsheets, and other software commonly used in the construction industry.
  • US citizenship.
  • Evan Fall Protection has worked in all fifty states; as such some work related travel is required
