Responsibilities:

· Develop, implement, maintain and optimize strategic internal communications programs that support company-wide initiatives and advance strategic goals

· Collaborate with partner and subject matter experts to create and support the development of internal-facing communications, including emails, newsletters, Sharepoint content, event resources, videos, and other materials, accounting for local language and cultural perspectives

· Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and internal clients

· Update global editorial calendar to schedule and ensure timely delivery of employee communications

· Develop and maintain internal communications guidelines, libraries of tools, and templates that will effectively scale and enable the standardization of global employee communications.

· Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of internal communication efforts by gathering and analyzing data such as employee feedback and engagement metrics. Use insights to continuously improve communication strategies, messaging and delivery.

· Assist with special projects, including Emerson’s annual Sustainability Report.

Who You Are: You adjust communication to fit the audience and the message.You persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks. You set objectives to align with broader organizational goals.

For this role, you will need:

· Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations preferred, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

· At least 3 years of demonstrated track record in creating and implementing effective communication initiatives

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

· Strong project management and organizational abilities to meet strict deadlines.

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

· Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms.

· Familiarity with the most up-to-date techniques and current developments in communication within the industry.
