Summary

This position is located within the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Drug Evaluation and Research(CDER), Office of Management (OM), Division of Management Services (DMS). The office is located in Silver Spring, MD.

This position is remote-within the local commuting area. If selected, you must reside in the local commuting area and will have to report to an FDA worksite on an irregular basis.



Duties
  • Acts as a liaison between OHR/LER, Office of General Counsel, and FDA's Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and Reasonable Accommodations staff to resolve employee related issues of varying degrees of complexity.
  • Providing advice to management on the interpretation and application of employee relations laws, regulations and policies for program compliance purposes, particularly those areas covered by The Code of Federal Regulations Title 5.
  • Supports the Center's LER activities to include consulting with LER Staff and management officials on case such as Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Administrative Grievance, and negotiated grievances for all Center Personnel.
  • Works collaboratively with the OHCM Anti-Harassment CREW Team on incoming CDER allegations including attending findings briefs, reviewing final reports, and determining course of action if required in collaboration with the assigned LER Specialist.
  • Prepares and consolidates, collaboration with the assigned LER Specialist and the Office of General Counsel (OGC), responses and documents pertaining to various interrogatories and information request.
