About the Role:

You’ve always loved it, now be part of it Home to Little Brownie Bakers, Ferrero Louisville is looking for our next Production Line Lead. In this role you will be responsible for leading hourly employees and executing production and logistics plans for little Brownie Bakers cookies.

As a core part of our Production team, you will be integral to ensuring we reach our goal by leading the overall operations of your assigned production line, including Safety, Quality, Production, Regulatory Compliance, and Warehousing.
The Production Line Lead will serve as second in command with the Production Supervisor. This position will report directly to the Production Supervisor.  

This individual will NOT be responsible for any disciplinary issues, will NOT issue discipline, get involved with any discipline or take part in any type of job performance issues.
 

Main Responsibilities:

Lead the execution of production and logistics plans though operator and other labor in industrial operations.
•    Create and monitor employee line schedules.
•    Participate in the development and implementation of plans and policies to ensure compliance in all areas of responsibility.
•    Operate production lines n accordance with FDA guidelines, GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices), and HACCP/SQF program guidelines.
•    Lead and coach operators on the proper performance of their activities in execution of production and/or logistic plans such as receiving, processing, mixing, baking, packaging, and shipping.
•    Perform daily line inspections by utilizing standard work and CIL documentation.
•    Participate in shift change management and communication as well as daily production standards and labor assignments.
•    Lead and Coach employees to ensure compliance and achieve quality KPI’s.
•    Communicate and help resolve and mitigate operational issues.
•    Participate in Lean Trainings serving as a key model for employees.
•    Responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance and food safety process, including ensuring proper sanitary condition allergen control, pest control, food safety policy, employee safety policies and procedures, and ensuring MCRS sustainability standards.
 

Who we are looking for:

    High School GED/Equivalent
•    Minimum 2 years’ Experience in manufacturing environment
•    Strong Analytical Skills
•    Effective Communicator: Verbal and written.
•    Experience with Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
•    Time Management

•    Experience with SAP
•    Experience in a Union environment
•    Experience with Lean Manufacturing
•    Six Sigma or related Project management
