Job Description

The Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions will identify, recruit, and enroll graduate students most likely to benefit from a Wentworth educational experience. Reporting to the Director of Graduate & International Enrollment in the Division of Enrollment Management, the Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions plays a pivotal role in helping the university meet and exceed its enrollment goals. The Assistant Director must have the flexibility to work occasional evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities:

Engage in one-on-one contact with prospective graduate students and their families during recruitment travel, using phone, email, and direct mail correspondence.
Conduct student informational sessions and campus tours.
Process admissions documents.
Assist with the planning of recruitment and yield events.
Engage with prospective international students.
Create Form I-20s as a Designated School Official
Assume leadership of the Grad Ambassador program.
Recruit graduate students at recruitment events.
Assist Director with all aspects of graduate application process.
Participate in planning for graduate marketing efforts.
Represent WIT at recruitment events and conferences.
Serve as liaison to graduate academic programs.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
3-5 years of work experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in higher education, event planning, or sales
Comfortable in a highly metrics-driven environment that includes weekly goal setting and progress assessment.
Familiarity was Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, such as Technolutions Slate or Salesforce is a plus.
