Our client is seeking a Full-Time Enterprise Applications Director to support US based LNG export facility and service the global demand for North American natural gas. This Arlington-based position will support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee a team responsible for supporting the operational and project portfolio of enterprise applications, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction with a cloud-first strategy. Direct the development, delivery, and maintenance of enterprise applications, prioritizing high system performance and a positive user experience. Strategically schedule and allocate internal and external resources to meet business operations and project demands effectively. Oversee and ensure the security and reliability of integration architecture across all activities. Plan and manage the annual budget for data-related activities and software costs, tracking and reporting any variances accurately. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring that all services and software meet quality standards, are delivered on time, and adhere to contract scopes. Implement effective user provisioning processes and access controls, with a focus on compliance and risk mitigation. Establish ITIL-compliant practices for incident, problem, and change management, ensuring strict adherence. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for enterprise applications in alignment with the company's business continuity goals, including the creation and maintenance of application runbooks. Plan, organize, and manage the team's personnel and activities, fostering an environment that attracts, develops, and retains top talent. Define and report on key metrics related to enterprise application support. Provide leadership and project management to both internal staff and external resources, driving the achievement of goals, improving efficiencies, and resolving problems. Ensure all objectives align with company policies, procedures, strategic direction, and regulatory standards. Stay informed on industry and regulatory trends to ensure the enterprise technology strategy remains current and effective. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Systems Security, or a related field from an accredited institution; advanced degrees are preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience with enterprise business applications and the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Proven experience in leading teams that support and integrate with SAP S/4 HANA is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with leaders across functional areas, including HR, Accounting & Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Operations and Maintenance, Commercial Operations, and Project Controls, aligning technology strategies with business goals. Expertise in defining technical application strategies, including API and integration, with a focus on cloud-based solutions. Experience managing vendors across various locations and geographies. Strong knowledge of ITIL principles concerning incident, change, and problem management, as well as IT governance in a multi-platform environment. High Emotional Intelligence with sustained leadership experience in large, complex organizations involving multiple stakeholders. Demonstrated management skills in budgeting, policy development and implementation, personnel administration, and staff development. Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and individuals. Exceptional executive-level written and verbal communication skills. Leadership abilities and adaptability to navigate unique challenges, effectively working with individuals in diverse cultures and business environments.
