- Manage onboarding and off-boarding processes, processing documentation, and leading new hire orientation.
- Communicate HR programs and policies to U.S.-based employees and managersand PIH’s U.S.expatriate population; serve as a knowledgeable resource to staff and partners as well as providetimelyand proactive support to address issues.
- Facilitate PIH’s Job Evaluation Committee by overseeing the schedule, agenda, and communications; work with hiring managers and the HR team on the analysis of jobs and projects related to compensation.
- Coordinate the employment of international expatriate staff with HR teams at the sites, providing employment information, and helping to resolve problems as they arise.
- Support the bi-weekly payroll process; create and maintain shared files through SharePoint and other secure methods; create and analyze reports to support knowledge sharing.
- Lead and participate in HR and cross-team projects as needed, including conducting research, preparing documents, managing event logistics, and tracking deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, and 1-2 years of relevant experience required; experience working in human resources preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills and strong customer service orientation.
- High proficiency in working with information and technology systems.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in French, Haitian Kreyol, or Spanish is a plus.
- Exemplary interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with culturally diverse staff across departments and countries.
- Interest in social justice strongly desirable.
