For its Life Sciences division, Hologic is looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager to join the team. The Sales Manager - Life Sciences Field Team will work with the Global Sales and Marketing Manager to develop, achieve and maintain business growth and market share through exceptional sales execution and team management for the Life Sciences Business Unit and within designated geographical area (North America: US/CAN).

Duties & Responsibilities:

Direct staffing, training, coaching, performance evaluations, and career development planning for sales representatives Develop and achieves accurate forecasts quarterly Work with business development and marketing departments to promote customer demand, organically grow existing accounts and generate new business relationships Develop US/CAN to achieve short, medium and long-term strategic business plans and annual sales targets plans Work collaboratively with Field Applications Specialists to ensure proper support of existing and future customers Establish and maintain high level Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships. Represent Hologic-Diagenode brand at trade association meeting, scientific events and conferences to promote company and product & services

Qualifications:

7+ years of management experience of sales team/function required Life Sciences degree, research experience in genetics is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with Salesforce CRM Proven ability to motivate and direct sales team to meet goals and objectives through influencing representative behavior

Additional Details:

Valid driver’s license and driving record satisfactory to the Company required  Up to 40-50% travel time – fluctuating with business requirements Prefer someone who resides in close proximity to major cities/airports

 

The total compensation range for this role is $140,000 to $220,000. This is based on a base salary and commission plan combination. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, territory/ geography, education, business needs, market demand and performance versus quota.
