This position is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of the risk and safety management program for WSI Supply Chain.
 

The Risk and Safety Coordinator position is located in Olive Branch, MS. 
 

You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will….

  • Perform data entry, data analysis and create weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for management across the supply chain
  • Provide Safety Management Information System (SMIS) training and access
  • Evaluate work-related accidents or injuries to ensure accurate information is obtained and documented. 
  • Initiate initial contact with Associates regarding Workers Compensation claims; May assist with return to work
  • Maintain and update safety database, ensuring data integrity, and accessibility
  • Implement data quality control measures to minimize errors in reporting
  • Maintain OSHA Logs, OSHA postings, and BLS Reporting
  • Assist the Workers’ Compensation Manager with facilitating and coordinating training as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Safety Managers, HR Business Partners, Loss Prevention, Operations, and other relevant departments
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in safety data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Facilitate Regional weekly Accident Review Committee Calls
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned

  • In-depth knowledge in the use of Excel and PowerPoint
