Join Our Team as a Fire Protection Systems Specialist

This role is crucial for the effective installation, functioning, and upkeep of fire protection systems. Key responsibilities include evaluating, testing, and conducting thorough system assessments. You will play a vital role in identifying system weaknesses and generating precise and timely inspection documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine preventative maintenance on fire suppression systems.
2. Conduct servicing and inspections of various fire suppression systems including wet, dry, and pre-action types.
3. Install, maintain, repair, or replace fire protection equipment and systems in strict compliance with relevant codes and standards.
4. Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
5. Upgrade and install fire protection systems in both commercial and residential properties.
6. Test and repair existing alarm systems.
7. Ensure that alarms are installed according to applicable codes through thorough inspections.
8. Complete detailed inspection reports, documenting any issues and providing accurate updates on work performed.
9. Safeguard and maintain company equipment and vehicles.
10. Respond to emergency service requests promptly.
11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
12. Follow directions and work independently when necessary.

Qualifications:
- RME-I certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with fire protection systems preferred.
- Familiarity with both commercial and residential systems.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively as well as independently.
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility with scheduling, including potential evening, weekend, and out-of-town assignments.
- Knowledge of fire safety principles and relevant codes and regulations.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to manipulate objects, reach with arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and may occasionally lift heavy items.
