Role Overview: As a Social Media Specialist, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the online presence of multiple hotel brands. Key Responsibilities:

● Oversee multiple hotel social accounts across the company portfolio. 

● Curate content on platforms such as: Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, ensuring consistency and brand alignment. 

● Provide daily community management, engaging with followers and responding to comments and messages within working hours. 

● Assist the Sr. Social Media Manager with strategic planning and execution of social media campaigns. 

● Develop and manage paid social campaigns to meet specific goals and KPIs. 

● Implement social initiatives such as contests and other engagement strategies. 

● Work with Sr. Social Media Manager to expand the Influencer Marketing program across the portfolio.

● Meet with hotel teams monthly to align paid and organic social content strategies. 

● Organize and oversee content collection from managed accounts, ensuring high-quality visuals and messaging.

● Travel to hotel properties to capture content in bulk for content curation (Photo/Video).

● Monitor and analyze social media performance, using insights to optimize future content and campaigns. 

● Prepare and present quarterly reports for managed accounts, highlighting key metrics, outcomes, and recommendations. 

● Stay relevant in social strategy trends and insights.

Requirements: 

● 2-4 years experience in a similar social media marketing or related role.

● A portfolio showcasing your social media work/similar marketing projects.

● Proficiency in major social media platforms, particularly Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok (YouTube experience is a plus). 

● Strong working knowledge of Meta Business Suite & Ads Manager.

● Working knowledge of design programs – Canva, Capcut, etc. 

● Familiarity with social media analytics tools and social management platforms – Hootsuite, Brandwatch, etc. 

● Ability to capture quality content from your phone and similar devices.

● Ability to manage multiple accounts and create content for various brands simultaneously. 

● A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual content. 

● Up to date with AI integrations to assist in optimizing day-to-day workflows.

● Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills. 

Preferred: 

● Hospitality experience preferred but not required. 

● Experience managing multiple accounts. 

● Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field. 

● Photoshop and or graphic design experience a plus. 

● Experience with camera equipment a plus – DSLR, action cameras, drones, etc. Additional Information. 

Additional Information

● Hybrid Role – 3 days a week at our Manhattan-based office.

● Comfortable traveling to and from our NYC-based office - only three blocks from Penn Station & Port Authority. 

● Willingness to travel inside and outside NYC to visit properties on-site.

* For applicants working in NYC, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $65,000k- $ 70,000k annually. The annual salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience.
