As an Accounting/Human Resources Coordinator, you will:Responsibilities
Supervise the financial department, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, auditing, payroll, general accounting, and cashiers.
Monitor all bank accounts daily.
Assist with the planning and implementation of financial procedures and systems.
Assist with the preparation financial analysis of hotel operations.
Assist with the preparation of reports outlining hotel’s financial position in areas of income, expense, and earnings based on past, present, and future operations.
Maintain file of all contracts, insurance policies, tax reports, expenses, payroll, etc.
Assist with the development of short- and long-term financial plans for the hotel that support overall Driftwood objectives.
Assist with the preparation of the annual hotel budget.
Establish and maintain a proactive human resources function to ensure associate motivation, training, and development, and ensure compliance with wage and benefit regulations and administration.Qualifications
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited University/College and three (3) years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the above skills, knowledge and abilities.
Computer Skills: Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point) and working knowledge of a variety of hotel information systems.
Other Requirements: Must be able to work independently, have knowledge of all accounting functions i.e., GAAP, Hospitality Accounting standards, and the ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers.Benefits
