Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and Target Enterprise Accounts: Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify, engage, and close enterprise-level accounts in a new vertical, ensuring they have access to Benzinga's unparalleled financial data solutions.
- Data Licensing Sales: Drive revenue growth by selling Benzinga's data licensing solutions to enterprise clients in uncharted territories, leveraging your industry expertise and book of business to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions that align with our mission.
- Self-Starter Mentality: As a self-starter, you will be responsible for proactively identifying new verticals and opportunities and taking ownership of your sales pipeline. You will thrive in an environment that values initiative and self-motivation.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations, ensuring they have the support and resources they need for informed decision-making.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to inform your sales approach and maintain a competitive edge, in line with Benzinga's commitment to delivering cutting-edge insights.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with our product and marketing teams to refine our offerings and effectively communicate their value to clients, contributing to our mission of making financial information accessible to all.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records, provide regular reports on sales activities, and track progress toward goals, helping us continuously improve and refine our data solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of Data Licensing Sales Experience or Similar: Proven track record of success in data sales, with a deep understanding of the financial data industry and its impact on informed decision-making.
- Enterprise Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify, approach, and secure enterprise-level accounts, aligning with Benzinga's commitment to empowering enterprises with actionable insights.
- Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of the financial data licensing landscape, trends, and key players in the industry, reflecting Benzinga's dedication to staying at the forefront of financial information.
- Excellent Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial ideas and solutions clearly and effectively, in line with Benzinga's mission to make finance accessible to everyone.
- Results-Driven: A history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas, contributing to our mission of enabling better financial decision-making.
- Self-Motivated: Proactive and self-driven with the ability to work independently and manage your business, embodying Benzinga's entrepreneurial spirit.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals, fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration, which is central to Benzinga's culture.
- Bachelor's Degree: Preferred, but not required, as we value diverse perspectives and experiences.
