The Front Office Manager is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, checking guests in and out of the hotel, and answering any questions guests may have about the hotel or surrounding area. The Front Office Manager is responsible for supporting the Front Desk Agents and Night Auditors. Individual must be well versed in front office operations and will act as Manager on Duty during some shifts. 

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
  • Greet guests as they arrive and check them in to their rooms
  • Answer any questions guests may have about the hotel or surrounding area
  • Assist guests with any needs they may have during their stay
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure that the front desk area is clean and organized at all times
  • Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure that guest rooms are clean and in good condition
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of all retail and guest supplies
  • Assist with front office scheduling and managing request offs
  • Handle guest complaints or issues in a professional manner
  • Monitor department labor and operational costs 
  • Complete schedule for Front Desk Agents and Night Audit team
  • Attend weekly staff meeting with all department heads
  • Complete weekly report
  • Manage all teammate timecards and approve payroll every other week
  • Responsible for assisting with sales administrative duties, including but not limited to rooming lists, billing, routing, setting up PM accounts, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in a Front Office supervisory role 
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer programs
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
