Visa is seeking an experience Marketing Budget / Traffick Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate is a team player, problem solver, self-starter and a bit Type A. Someone who is versatile, wildly organized, loves platforms and processes and has a keen attention to detail. The role will sit in the Visa Acceptance Solutions division of Visa, a global payments management platform.

The Marketing Budget / Traffick Manager will support global marketing efforts through managing project budgets, upkeep content calendars, manage deliverable milestones and keep the team on track using our project management tools and tactics to organize the operationalization of our global marketing programs. You should be able to effectively keep track of multiple projects, coordinate with project leads, and maintain close communications with the cross-functional team. You will work within our marketing operations team to process new scope of work requests, manage content calendars, track projects, and update budgets. Many projects will have a short life cycle, so being able to work well under tight deadlines is a must as well as being able to manage/juggle shifting priorities.

This role will support multiple marketing teams and the team it sits on marketing operations). You will roll up your sleeves and get right to work ensuring all work is organized, on-time, and delivered to spec. It will not be boring, we promise. You’ll have the ability to be part of something interesting where you will see your direct impact rather than being just another cog in the wheel.

This role reports to the Marketing Program Manager for Visa Acceptance Solutions.

This role is located in Austin, TX. No fully remote workers.

Essential Functions

  • Using robust project management tools (Wrike, Ariba, Allocadia) to track and organize the work

  • Informing and supporting new PO submissions to help managers remain within financial targets.

  • Understanding priorities, groom the backlog and manage project milestones in our project management system, Wrike.

  • Communicating project status, progress of deliverables and risks / issues to stakeholders

  • Supporting project tasks across a wide variety of marketing outputs and stakeholder types

  • Understanding the inter-connectedness of all functions and geographies to ensure effective communication and collaboration across all areas.

  • Helping to manage content calendars and project trackers to forecast potential conflicts and overdue deliverables.

  • Ensuring new work statements are complete and include all relevant information

  • Assisting operations team to govern workflow and submission processes across all marketing work.

  • Supporting the creation of new solutions to better outcomes. “Trial and learn” approach is something we embrace and honestly, a bit fun.

  • This is a global support role – working with EMEA, AP, LAC and NA markets.

    This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

    Basic Qualifications
    • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

    Preferred Qualifications
    • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) in marketing, billing, project management, or operations.
    • You have a proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and internal and external resources.
    • Experience in fintech or payments industry experience a plus, but not required.
    • Experience in marketing planning, project management, billing and resourcing, in a fast-paced environment
    • You have proven experience managing programs and vendors to deliver efficient output and results.
    • You’re into the details – at a pixel level execution.
    • You are highly organized with a passion for crafting and improving processes.
    • You don’t miss a beat with changing asks and balancing multiple projects.
    • You can solve problems and identify issues before they escalate using keen instincts and organizational experience.
    • You are self-motivated, self-managed. Gets stuff done – in scope, on time, within budget.
    • You have strong planning and time-management skills.

    Additional Information

    ** Work Hours:** Varies upon the needs of the department.

    ** Travel Requirements:** This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

    ** Mental/Physical Requirements:** This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

    U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 102,300.00 to 144,550.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
