Overview:

As an HR Reporting Analyst on the Human Resources Technology team, you will be developing custom reports and dashboards that will ultimately help CSC leaders make better decisions.  This role presents a unique opportunity to blend an interest in Human Resources knowledge with analytical skills.  The HR Reporting Analyst will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements using reporting capabilities out of our HCM system, Oracle HCM Cloud.  The HR Reporting Analyst will work mainly with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and will work on the development of new reports and dashboards as they relate to new system functionality and capabilities.  

This role would best suit someone who is savvy with report writing, utilizing OTBI or a similar reporting system.  Someone who has exceptional attention to detail and tenacity, is able to think outside of the box, and is a great team player will do well in this position. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Build, audit, and finalize new requested HCM reports
  • Create reporting dashboards that can be generated on an ongoing basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly)
  • Work with other HR functions and leaders across the business to identify and analyze reporting and dashboard needs
  • Test scheduled reports and functionality of dashboards with every quarterly system release.  Troubleshoot, research, and escalate issues as necessary
  • Introduce streamlined solutions to existing HR processes through the use of HCM reporting tools that will improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Provide recommendations for ways to best view and interpret HCM data
  • Conduct periodic analysis of data to identify data integrity issues and opportunities for improving data quality
  • Provide reports to assist with regulatory reporting and compliance audits
  • Protect and maintain the privacy of employee data including personal and compensation related information

Required Competencies: 

  • 2-3 years of experience working within a reporting system.  Experience working within Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Ability to present findings to other teams within and outside of HR
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments effectively 
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Highly organized and action-oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
  • Passion for learning
  • General knowledge of Human Resources and HCM systems
