Senior Principal Systems Development Engineer

  • What youll achieve
    As a Senior Principal Systems Development Engineer, you will design, define and implement complex system requirements for customers and prepare studies and analyses of existing systems.

    You will:
  • Deliver assigned system interfaces with design and process across extended teams
  • Prepare documentation for inspection/testing procedures
  • Design, develop and implement cost effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment
  • Prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment and complete specifications and procedures for new products

    Essential Requirements
  • 15+ years of related experience with ML/AI/HPC (Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence/High Performance Computing) concepts and the applications that drive these technologies

Experience with large scale InfiniBand or ethernet and RDMA/RoCE; experience with large cluster deployment, cluster management (k8s/Kubernetes, Bright cluster manager, Omnia, Slurm etc)

Experience with Large Language model deployments

Strong experience with GPU performance benchmarking, and performance tuning

  • Desirable Requirements
  • Bachelors degree
  • Ability to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup, capability to influence others to achieve results

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $200k - $242k.
