Duties and Responsibilities

Parco is looking for an experienced and driven Customer Service Representative to perform the below duties and responsibilities:

  • Review customer purchase order requirements and translate them into SAP sales orders with clear instructions that can be actioned by internal depts.
  • Responsible for all order management activities (e.g. order entry, pricing info, delivery information, status updates, expedites, and order/schedule changes).
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer’s, Sales, and internal depts through open and interactive professional communication.
  • Act as liaison between the organization and the customer. Provide proactive information, answer questions, and resolve emerging sales order problems, delays, and escalations.
  • Respond to and follow up on RFQs. Guide customer’s to the best overall material solutions.
  • Work closely with cross functional depts to manage customer satisfaction levels from time of order placement through order fulfillment delivery of customer purchase orders. 
  • Intake and manage customer complaints and requests for material returns.
  • Under established guidelines, act independently communicating policy and procedures. 
  • Other related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • 3 years of customer service experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong computer skills (SAP, CRM, customer portals, Microsoft Excel – intermediate level).
  • Strong interpersonal and phone skill sets. 
  • Must possess strong math skills, including but not limited to, multiplication and division of all units of measure.
  • Extremely organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Effective, professional communication style, both oral and written.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing work/customer environment.
