As a Word Processor, you will be part of a high op tempo team working on innovative technologies to maintain superiority in support of Air Warfare and Surface Warfare mission areas. You will be responsible for administrative tasks including producing a variety of standard documents, such as correspondence, form letters, reports, tables, and other printed materials.


Who You Are and What You Need:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in an office setting performing administrative tasks.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience using technologically current automated word processing equipment and software applications, plus the ability to type 40 words per minute accurately.
  • Previous experience using Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to organize and file large amounts of business-critical information.
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to details and accuracy
  • Written communication skills including knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling

What You Will Do:

  • Compile and input report data for submission on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly schedule.
  • Support and ais in miscellaneous administrative tasking, and/or data entry.
  • Produce a variety of standard documents, such as correspondence, form letters, reports, tables, and other printed materials.
  • Perform routine assignments following standard procedures, seek further instructions for assignments requiring deviations from established procedures.
  • Assist with Systems Engineering and Logistics Support tasks, including, but not limited to process improvement initiatives, general housekeeping, data entry and analysis.
  • Perform familiar, routine assignments following standard procedures, seek further instructions for assignments requiring deviations from established procedures.
  • Support Front Desk operations.
  • Assist and support in other administrative duties and tasks as assigned.
