About the Opportunity:
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing engaging content across various digital platforms including social media platforms, our website, email and digital marketing materials to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and drive lead generation.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality, visually appealing, and engaging content, including text, images, and videos, tailored to each social media platform, our websites, email campaigns and other digital marketing channels.


  • Social Media Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with company goals, including increasing brand awareness, driving website traffic, and lead generation.


  • Community Engagement: Actively monitor and engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.


  • Content Calendar: Execute and maintain a content calendar in partnership with our Content Marketing Manager, ensuring a consistent posting schedule and coordination with other marketing initiatives.


  • Data Analysis: Regularly track and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. Prepare reports and make data-driven recommendations.


  • Ad Campaigns: Collaborate with our paid media agency and digital marketing team on paid social media advertising campaigns, including ad creative development and optimization.


  • Stay Current: Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media and digital marketing and make recommendations for continuous improvement-particularly related to content strategies.


  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all social media & digital content is in line with the brand's voice, values, and guidelines.


  • Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to create visually appealing graphics and multimedia content.


  • Social Listening: Monitor conversations about our brand and industry trends to identify engagement opportunities and advocacy opportunities.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned


What are we looking for in our Digital Content Specialist (qualifications)?

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Digital Content Specialist or similar role.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent content creation (copy writing, copy editing, photo & video capture and post-production) and graphic design skills.
  • Ability to capture & edit photo and video content in controlled environments (in-office, in studio, at factories)
  • Ability to capture, cut and post content near real-time at live events & tradeshows
  • Understanding of SEO and content marketing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinking and a strong eye for detail.


  • Familiarity with social media advertising and paid campaigns.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and platforms in social media.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and practices to optimize content for search engines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
