The beautiful Embassy Suites Alexandria Old Town is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to join their leadership team As a Food & Beverage Manager, you will direct and organize the activities of the Food & Beverage outlets to maintain the high standards of food/beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.

This 288-suite property's restaurant, the Atrium Lounge, offers a relaxed dining area that serves up plates such as flatbreads, pizzas, sandwiches and salads Guests can also utilize In-Room Dining and the hotel has an additional 11,052 square feet of meeting space. In this role, you will be a hands-on leader who spends most of their time on the floor touching tables/interfacing with team members Ideal candidates for the position will have previous food and beverage leadership experience, in a hospitality focused setting with an emphasis on team culture. #LI-GL1

What will I be doing?

As a Food & Beverage Manager, you will direct and organize the activities of the Food & Beverage outlets to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. This includes but is not limited to:

Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation. Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.  Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards. Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff. Requirements
