Inside Sales Rep

JOB SUMMARY
The Inside Sales Representative will act as an internal liaison between the business and the customer spending most of his/her time facilitating customer relationships and integrating sourcing and pricing with all facets of the business and its product offerings.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
- Develops a core understanding of product line within the company and their related applications.
- Obtains an understanding of customer needs, design, and value drivers.
- Works to understand the design and engineering behind the products with capabilities of interpreting blueprints and product specifications.
- Achieves an understanding of the manufacturing processes involved in producing company products.
- Establishes relationships with the Customer Service team to comprehend typical customer to business communications and needs.
- Understands the Quality function as it relates to testing, product tolerances, documentation, certification, and ISO compliance where applicable. (Big Picture)
- Develops the ability to manage new and existing customer accounts with the capability of uncovering and identifying new business opportunities.
- Works with Mohawk on the transfer business between FVS and them to help coordinate the transition and maintain those customers.
- Works with CS on customer requests to the shop for expedites and updates.
SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Self-starter, team player, highly customer focused, ability to grow account base.
- Strong communication and decision-making ability required.
- Motivated, works with sense of urgency.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of sales experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Experience Required- 2 year(s): Experience in a manufacturing, sales setting; cold headed micro-components preferred
