This position will report to the Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and will be an integral member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team.  This is a hybrid position, 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the planning and execution of diversity and inclusion events, initiatives, programs and workshops
  • Compiles and maintains diversity and inclusion data and metrics, and assists in the production of related dashboards and reports
  • Manages diversity-related communications, maintains content on Dentons US LLP’s intranet and website, and update the diversity and inclusion-related marketing materials
  • Assists with budget planning and expense tracking, and prepares budget summaries and reports
  • Conducts ongoing research on industry trends and best practices
  • Collaborates with other Firm departments on diversity and inclusion-related initiatives and activities
  • Assists in preparing and distributing meeting summaries and engages in other follow-up tasks as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested

 

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience required. Law firm experience is preferred
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, balance competing demands and meet concrete deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform work with a high-level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organized with the ability to work independently
  • Develops rapport with others and establishes positive working relationships, both internally and externally
  • Maintains confidences, and uses sound judgment and discretion in dealing with highly confidential information
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel
