As a Supervisory Pharmacist working in the Intravenous Admixture Section (IVAU), within the Pharmacy Department, your major duties will include but are not limited to:
Serving as the Chief of this section supervising Supervisory Pharmacists, Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
Planning and assigning work and evaluating work performance and training needs of subordinates.
Identifying and implementing ways to improve production.
Exercising leadership to ensure that all programs reflect the principles of workforce diversity in accordance with EEO.
Ensuring the section's compounding of all sterile hazardous and nonhazardous products comply with all relevant and current regulations, standards and procedures (i.e. USP, FDA, and TJC).
Ensuring that the appropriate and necessary guidance including SOPs are available to staff.
Ensuring the section staff maintains facilities, equipment, and materials through cleaning and signs off processes.
