Third Party Risk Engineer

We are partnered with a Boston based investment management company that is rapidly evolving the financial landscape for their growing client base. They are growing out their Security team and are looking to bring on a Third Party Risk Engineer to evaluate and manage third party risk associated technology and vendor relationships. This person will play a pivotal role in safeguarding assets and ensuring compliance.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience collaborating with vendors and stakeholders and evaluating third party security controls and policies. You will conduct third party risk assessments to identify potential security risks and develop strategies and recommendations to improve the security posture. Candidates for this role must be local to the metro Boston area and be comfortable commuting to their downtown office 2-3 days a week.

Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in Information Security or Risk Management related roles Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to third-party risk management. Proficient in assessing security controls, vulnerability management, and risk frameworks. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven experience in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external partners. Desired Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CRISC) is a plus
