Title: Sr Director or Director Professional and Industry Relations

Location: Remote with 50-60% travel

The Sr. Director/Director of Professional and Industry Relations of Alastin will report directly to the VP of Marketing and will serve as a key member of the leadership team. He/she will serve as a catalyst for collaboration between Alastin Skincare and National/Regional Thought Leaders, and HCP education as well as supporting strategic professional relationships with Congress Organizers. Working interactively with internal stakeholders, such as marketing, sales, R&D and Clinical and Portfolio/Strategic Marketing and to ensure optimal engagement opportunities at medical meetings, field seminars, educational events, clinical study planning and execution, etc. Responsibilities include developing and implementing thought leader initiatives to ensure that Alastin is seen as a highly credible and ethical, scientific leader in Skincare. Primary contact point for coordination of communication to key physicians from Alastin and into stakeholders within the company. Responsible for integrating scientific expertise and knowledge with company strategies to ensure successful communication, education and implementation of the Company's medical and commercial communication efforts. Expertise in Aesthetic industry, (device industry experiences a bonus) with existing thought leader relationships. This position will report to the VP, Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
Create a clear KOL identification engagement plan, by segment/specialty, to establish trust through the consistent demonstration of scientific expertise, deep clinical research and to increase awareness of ALASTIN within the Physician-dispensed Skincare and aesthetic community. Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with core KOLs to identify podium and speaking opportunities, utilization for ad boards and/or internal project needs and with continued satisfactory follow through with requests that arise. Develop and execute a strategic Speak Bureau and faculty for HCP P2P initiatives inclusive of education programs, congress features and trade journal opportunities. Build and Manage Executive engagement and touchpoints with key thought leaders at core Congresses and Society Leadership meetings. Ensure strategic, consistent and ongoing HCP and KTL outreach, engagement and education plan through clear and measurable plan - leveraging all avenues of engagement opportunity. Neutralize key competitive KTLs with appropriate data, education and outreach Identification of rising stars and ways to engage this highly influential group Implement effective educational messaging plans for core products and utilization of science to increase awareness and adoption of Alastin products among influential thought leaders Oversee development and distribution of clinical and commercial slide decks Seek to identify and classify device and skincare thought leaders according to podium presentation plan, advisory board members, physician to physician preceptor training, media relations, and other activities related to the company’s strategic training objectives, to effectively target and convert to Alastin advocates. Work collaboratively with multiple and cross-functional internal stakeholders to ensure corporate goals and objectives are met Support clinical trial planning and execution by serving liaison between investigators and Alastin Clinical team. Build, Support and align on Key Scientific Messaging Platform and Scientific Strategic Imperatives to ensure appropriate facilitation and support of IITs and Case Studies for patient satisfaction and before & after’s Support Trade outreach and placement of new data and continuing to leverage existing data exposure Partner with Ax KOL Relations team and GAIN trainers to amplify ALASTINs visibility at congresses, GAIN Ax programs and discussing other strategic touchpoints/programs in partnership to drive the Galderma IDS strategy Support Strategic/Portfolio lead by channeling and validating competitive and market intelligence efforts through congress and customer presence and ad board engagement Facilitate an increase in visibility and SOV at medical meetings through Alastin scientific content placement, small educational roundtable events, product experience for upcoming speakers. Work with thought leaders involved in congress content/owners/scientific steering committees to ensure increased SOV opportunities (sessions including Alastin products, workshops, commercial branding opportunities). Create and execute consultant advisory boards Efficiently manage time and priorities, coordinate field goals and objectives, activities and establish calendar and direction. Attend Medical Congresses and conduct field travel to ensure frequent touch points with key thought leaders.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
BA/BS degree required, or equivalent experience and education 10 or more years Aesthetic, Dermatology or Surgical sales, marketing or thought leader development experience Ability to interface with a variety of external partners as well as internally within the company in a highly professional manner, serving as the “face” of the company at key events Procedural, technical, scientific competency for development of educational materials. Thorough understanding of the relationships among physicians and extenders, professional organizations and industry support for clinical education initiatives. Capable of managing multiple individuals and large scope projects. Ability to work independently on projects and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving and prioritizing skills. Ability to influence and gain consensus without authority. Excellent business writing and communication skills, i.e. reports and letters and usage of Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to plan multiple events and ensure appropriate, timely communication and planning with Corporate personnel, Account Managers, and external partners Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and get others to buy in to specific goals and strategies in a fast placed, demanding environment Self-reliant with the ability to make solid business decisions
