  • As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on mechanical equipment and systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in down-hole drilling tools, and in particular, power generation, electro/mechanical hydraulic assemblies, and measurements while drilling tools (MWD).
  • Perform cleaning, inspection, repair, and testing of the HALO RSS as listed in the RSS Competency Standard, and in accordance with the appropriate Maintenance & Service Instructions.
  • Perform diagnostic tests on both full tool assemblies and of subassemblies that comprise the HALO RSS system.
  • Assists and understudy through the Shop Supervisor, Lead Technicians and via our Sustaining/Reliability Engineering effort.
  • Complete and maintain required SDI online HSE training, including, but not limited to, Safety Training, ESD Awareness, Lithium Battery Safety, forklift, overhead crane, and any other assigned ELM Training that is necessary to a particular assignment.
  • Experience in oil field or military equipment maintenance.
