Your Job:
  • Complete seriatim experience studies and assist with quote reviews;
  • Use experience studies to analyze mortality and persistency life insurance trends;
  • Assist with the development and monitoring of a database of client mortality studies
  • Conduct research of key trends in both US and Canadian general population and fully underwritten mortality, morbidity and persistency and provide output to team to assist with recommendations.
  • Assist with the development of marketing materials that promotes MARC as a subject matter expert in industry mortality topics; help with organizing market-facing activities that enhance MARC's overall market profile in mortality research.
  • Support Individual Life Pricing and Longevity Pricing initiatives in reviewing and assessing client provided mortality studies
  • Support reporting, analysis and research of company's mortality experience


Your Profile:

  • 3+ years knowledge and experience in life (re)insurance
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, or related field
  • ASA with progression towards FSA
  • Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced Software/application knowledge including - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and SQL

For New York City based employees, the base salary range anticipated for this position is $147,979 to $163,555, plus an opportunity for an annual company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay.
