The US Operations Director will oversee the management of all manufacturing areas for multiple Donaldson Plants across the United States. The primary objective of this role is to drive excellent performance in people, safety, quality, delivery, and cost in all reporting plants. Ideal candidates will be able to work out of our Bloomington, MN location.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute manufacturing strategy focused on continuous improvement in safety, environmental sustainability, and excellent service while supporting profitable growth.

  • Review, maintain, control, and regularly report on the financial and operational performance of manufacturing operations.

  • Develop and deploy manufacturing work models, focusing on global and scalable lean initiatives, standardized process control, and support for manufacturing excellence.

  • Partner with Supply Chain to define and leverage the strategic sourcing and materials models that enhance total customer satisfaction and optimize cost.

  • Ensure full compliance with all government, local and corporate laws, and policies.

  • Develop and implement suitable capital expenditure, cost reduction, and employee development programs.

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholder to deliver the highest level of service and business performance.

TRAVEL: 25-50%, depending on business needs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • 10+ years of professional level plant management/manufacturing operations experience, including managerial experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting multiple locations.

  • Demonstrated ability in strategic process creation and implementation.

  • Management and development of Operational Excellence throughout an operation and across an organization, including functional groups.

  • Certification in Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt with advanced knowledge of lean manufacturing systems processes, products, and customers

  • Strong background in goal deployment, strategic planning and building organizational capability.

  • Technically proficient in all areas of manufacturing management, Safety, Quality, Supply Chain, and OpEx

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a cross-functional team.
