About the job
The primary function of this role is to ensure proper inventory levels, make sure we are fully stocked in our online and brick and mortar sales channels. This role ensures there is a smooth flow of information from Sales and Operations to Finance. An ideal candidate will have experience in the Consumer Product Goods industry with ERP System, data analysis and solid knowledge of Supply Chain.    Key Responsibilities
 
  • Own the accurate planning and on-time delivery of finished goods to our customers.
  • Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) that are approved by management
  • Support demand signaling, ordering and inventory management of product lines.
  • Identify supply issues, flag to appropriate teams and drive resolution.
  • Own the analysis and reporting of supply health and ensure stakeholders have what they need to drive decision-making.
  • Apply forecasting principles as it applies to demand planning and its effects on inventory levels and purchasing
  • Review and analyze system recommended demand forecast.
  • Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand.
  • Analyzing, identifying, and implementing opportunities for improvements to the operational processes.
  • Evolving and maintaining documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes
  • Work Cross-Functionally with BDB Operations, Product Development, Marketing, Finance and Sales Teams
     
Requirements & Qualifications

 
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in inventory planning
  • Highly proficient in MS Office package (specifically Excel)
  • Experience with Apprise (or equivalent ERP system) is preferred
  • Knowledge of inventory models and metrics
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrable capability to analyze and collect data, including cross-reference data validation
  • Ability to engage in multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Effective communication skills
