Join us at AstraZeneca as a Sr. Director, Governance & Service Strategy and play a key role in effectively communicating the value of our work. You will be accountable for supporting the design of service strategies that align with Access Strategy/Therapeutic Area business strategies for launch and in-line products. You will closely partner with key stakeholders across numerous functions and lead a cross-functional team to coordinate enterprise network management and solutions effectively and efficiently.

Accountabilities:

As a Sr. Director, you will lead a team focused on Market Access Customer engagements that drive innovation through services and collaborations, while ensuring legal and compliance risks are mitigated. You will oversee the development and implementation of customer segment service strategies through effective contracting. You will also partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure service strategies remain compliant with industry regulations and standards. Your role will also involve monitoring and evaluating shifts and changes in the marketplace environment and proactively making recommendations on service strategies.

Essential Skills/Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree

- Minimum of 10 years of Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry or relevant professional experience with 5+ years of relevant commercial experience.

- Understanding of Market Access and Healthcare delivery

- Demonstrated strategic & relationship building skills.

- Demonstrated ability gain consensus and act within a matrix team environment.

- Strong leadership and mentoring experience.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

- MBA

- Multi industry marketing practice

- Thorough understanding of AZ business model

- Legal or Finance Degree

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $210,166.00 to $315,249.00. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program. Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
