We are seeking aMarket Area (MA) Technology Manager (formerly Technical Sales Support) for either Crushing (Bulk Material Handling), Grinding, Separation (Thickening, Flotation and Automation), and Filtration to join our team. You will be responsible for the execution of the Business Line (BL) product line strategy for sales growth and profitability. The Technology Manager's key focus is to identify the Client's key value drivers, define Metso's value propositions, and integrate these value propositions into winning proposals. The MA Technology Manager works hand in hand with BL Proposals and MA Front End Sales (FES).

In this position, you will report to the Senior Director, Technology and Proposals.

This position is located in Denver, CO and other locations would be considered within the North and Central America region. There may be up to 50% travel involved for this position.

What you'll do
Executes product strategy for sales growth and profitability for Market Area. Offers product support and technical assistance/analysis to existing and potential customers. Develops and presents value solutions for customers as well as value propositions and win plan for sales cases. Promotes new product designs/innovations to end users as well as internal teams. Provides sales teams with new potential customer identification. Builds positive customer relations to generate repeated business and future leads. Responsible for sales target numbers in respective region. Offers insight on competition and advises team on pricing levels, etc. Performs product inspections and provides reports and analysis. Negotiates pricing levels and/or deliveries for product line. Responsible for product installation expertise. Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
BS Degree in Engineering. 3 yrs experience involved with proposals, budgets, and strategies. 3 yrs experience within a global organizational structure. 5 yrs experience in mineral and metal processing plant/equipment design. 5 yrs experience in process optimization and process control. 5 yrs experience in using CRM system. Strong negotiation skills required. Experience in AutoCAD or related software an asset. SAP Software experience an asset. Strong communication skills, drive and performance orientation. Ability to work in a team atmosphere. Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-language atmosphere. Client skills including building and managing relationships, negotiation skills and understanding of customer needs and market requirements. Strong computer skills are essential - MS Office is required. Knowledge in SAP is an advantage Ability to prepare and make presentations. Organized, autonomous and work with minimum supervision.
