Emergency Triage Technician
– Swing shifts/nights

Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital is a 24-hour emergency/critical care and specialty veterinary hospital dedicated to
compassionate medical care to the dogs and cats entrusted to our care. the patient’s needs in the ER and critical care department.
Assist in patient stabilization including, but not limited to, IV catheter placement, drug/fluid therapy, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Patient monitoring and document in medical record.
Perform diagnostics and treatments on patients presenting to Emergency Department.
treatment plans, client communication, and nursing care concerns
Follow established hospital policies and procedures when handling client concerns
All employees will be scheduled and expected to work rotating holiday shifts in the emergency and critical care department.
in the on-call rotation as needed. Shifts are subject to revisions and changes at the discretion of the hospital.
Document legibly and keep
medical records in accordance

Clear understanding and enforcement of OSHA regulations and hospital safety standards.
Three 12-hour shifts including one weekend shift
2 holidays per year
20 - $35 pending skills assessment leveling & credentialing
Completion of an AVMA-Accredited Veterinary Technician Program preferred.
Must be flexible and able to adapt to new situations.
