As an Overnight ICU Veterinary Technician at Ethos Veterinary Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our hospitalized patients during the night shifts. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
Provide exceptional care to a variety of patients, including those recovering from surgery, internal medicine cases, and critical care patients.
- Technical Proficiency:
Utilize your skills in sample collection, medication administration, and dosage calculations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitoring and Reporting:
Conduct thorough assessments of patient vitals, triage critical cases, and communicate any changes in condition to the attending veterinarian.
- Client Communication:
Engage with pet owners compassionately, providing updates on their pets' conditions and facilitating smooth transitions during discharges.
Work Schedule:
Three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, including rotating weekends.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage ranging from $20 to $35, based on skills and experience, with an additional 15% differential for overnight shifts. Up to $2,000 sign-on bonus available for credentialed technicians, and $1,000 for non-credentialed technicians, payable after a designated period of employment.
