Napatech is the leading provider of programmable Smart Network Interface Cards (SmartNICs) and Infrastructure Processing Units (IPUs) used in cloud, enterprise, and telecom datacenter networks. The Napatech Reconfigurable Computing Platform is based on a broad set of FPGA software for leading IT compute, network, storage, and security applications that are supported on a wide array of FPGA hardware designs.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Sales Director. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing sales plans, managing customer relationships, target account selling, and driving business development. The Sales Director will also be responsible for executing sales strategies for design wins, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.
Qualifications/Responsibilities
- Manage existing accounts and develop new accounts in defined vertical market or area
- Existing accounts – maximize revenue (with current design wins and proliferating within the account)
- New Accounts – build design win opportunity pipeline pursuing strategic, repeatable, and predictable business
- Work in collaboration with a global sales force to drive prospects into clients
- Help define and run sales campaigns to generate leads and build a well-qualified sales pipeline
- Demonstrate willingness to learn and improve knowledge in the computer and storage networking, IT technology & services industry
- Ability to work in the field as an individual contributor with a minimum of supervision
- Manage sales process which includes prospecting, building rapport, relationship management, account mining, revenue growth and maintaining customer satisfaction over multi-year cycles of product development, document customer progress to management
- Ability to communicate needs in a clear and concise manner; ability to affect process when necessary
- Attain quota and design win objectives
