Claims Specialist/Data Entry
Monday-Friday first shift
Scanning all claim forms;
Editing all errors and/or inquiry areas on claim forms;
When/where possible, correcting information using the scanning software edit function, so claim can proceed;
Alerting Claims management of any unusual encounters in terms of quantity or quality.
Assisting with opening and sorting incoming mail to be processed;
Identifying corrected claims and notes updated in Plexis for the Claims Analysts.
Count batches the following morning in the drawer to provide totals and latest dates.
Purge all the claims verified, once all claims have been received from Multiplan.
Data entry/computer skills required
