Location(s): This position is based out of our Austin infusion center, TX-AUSTIN, 720 W 34TH ST, STE 104, and will be required to travel up to 75% to our 16 infusion centers across the Waco, San Antonio, and Houston areas.
The Regional Family Nurse Practitioner - Paragon Infusion Centers is responsible for patient care within his/her scope of practice in the clinical setting.
Administers ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, INS standards and company policy and procedures.
* Documents all pertinent data in the patient's medical record.
* Evaluates the patient's response to therapy and documents this finding in the medical record.
* Educates patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan.
* Participates in the Quality Improvement program.
* Participates in On-Call program, which may include after-hours, weekend and holiday calls and visitations.
* May require extensive travel to worksite and other locations as necessary.
* Requires an MS in Nursing and minimum of 2 years of related experience with clinical emphasis for nurse practitioner; Current, active, valid and unrestricted NP license to practice as a healthcare professional within the scope of license in applicable state required.
* Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience with IV's strongly preferred.
