Axiad is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Sr. Product Manager who will bring his/her experience, passion, and creativity to join us in our mission. This role will be part of the Axiad Product Management team, and will take part in formulating the overall company strategy and goals. As a member of Axiad's Product Management team, you will help define, and shape the new product strategy, and translate that strategy & vision into an product execution plan backed with market validation and customer insights.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research, analyze and present product and market requirements by leveraging our customer base and field teams as well as maintaining expertise in relevant cloud security technological domains
  • Define and analyze metrics to measure product success & health
  • Develop the product roadmap and build consensus on prioritization which drives product execution
  • Participate in detailed sprint planning (including defining Epics and User Stories) and prioritization exercises jointly with engineering
  • Work closely with Axiad engineering team to understand problems, capture new ideas and manage a prioritized backlog of requirements
  • Participate in product planning sessions to define initiatives, resolve dependencies and perform data-driven prioritization in an agile delivery environment
  • Work with the solution marketing team to deliver go-to-market material and new product releases
  • Team success – this is cross functional role; ensure overall business goals are met with great alignment across cross functional teams

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS  

  • 5+ years of product management experience in a cloud-native technology company, with a total of 8+ years of experience in technology/engineering
  • 3+ years experience with one of the following areas: Authentication, encryption, key management or authorization and access controls concepts and technologies
  • Strong technical background in large-scale distributed systems and platform architecture to be able to communicate effectively with engineers and architects
  • Demonstrated ability to execute a vision and strategy, with a proven track record of delivering market leading solutions to market and helping to develop new products with commercial success
  • Good knowledge in SaaS identity and access solutions and best practice
  • Strong familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
  • Working knowledge of common compliance security regulations and standards such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, GDPR, FedRAMP or PCI
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas, plans and business cases
  • Willingness to Travel
