- Naval Architect Responsibilities*
- Create and develop innovative designs for marine vessels and offshore structures, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and safety.
- Perform detailed analysis and calculations related to hull design, stability, weight distribution, and structural integrity.
- Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and other technical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Ensure all designs and projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and classification society requirements (e.g., ABS, DNV, USCG).
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and management of naval architecture projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
- Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical expertise, and deliver tailored naval architecture solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in naval architecture and apply innovative solutions to improve vessel performance, efficiency, and safety.
- Naval Architect Position Requirements*
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Naval Architecture & Maritime Engineering or in related Engineering specialty from an accredited college or university.
- 10+ Years of related Engineering experience / 5 10 years of experience in Naval Architecture and Design.
