Job Title: Privacy Analyst Description: Our client is hiring for their dynamic CX department, currently undergoing a major digital transformation. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct business analysis on privacy risk assessments, ensuring they fall within the team’s scope.
  • Fulfill privacy rights requests, including Right to Know and Do Not Sell forms.
  • Develop SOPs and assist with annual privacy training.
  • Collaborate on privacy governance and create policies and procedures.
  • Support the implementation of privacy software.
  • Maintain consumer-data privacy touchpoints, working with IT to enhance UX/UI.
  • Support annual Privacy Notice updates and publication.
  • Document privacy-related customer-experience flows and requirements, review designs, test, and support implementation.
  • Advocate for Privacy by Design by engaging with a broad spectrum of business operations teams to educate and consult.
  • Support communications in key governance channels, including the Data Privacy Steering Committee and Data Privacy Council.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including meeting materials, minutes, reports, backlogs, project deliverables, requirement sessions, decision logs, and risk/action/issue logs.
  • Benchmark privacy best practices with industry groups and demonstrate continuous learning through training and participation in industry resource groups.
Requirements:
  • Understanding of governance and policy development.
  • Experience with privacy training, SOP builds, and compliance.
  • Project planning and project management experience.
  • Ability to apply privacy knowledge to achieve practical, compliant solutions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously with strong prioritization skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; legal research and analytical skills are a plus.
  • IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification is a plus.
  • Experience with privacy software, such as One Trust, is desirable.
