Project Scheduling – maintain weekly updates
Coordinate inspections
Subcontractor Change Order verification and validate labor/material projections
Clear and assertive communication in the field is critical and can include direct conversations with Owners and Architects (and other consultants).
Experience in dealing with representatives of various city building & development departments…
Contact and schedule subcontractors – ability must be second nature to motivate job-related subcontractors/suppliers to meet the intent of specific plans & specifications
Cut and Fill sites, Utilities, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing applications.
Some projects require more than others, but at critical points can demand extra time commitments
Organize and conduct weekly onsite subcontractor meetings to discuss safety practices, current events, schedule, quality control, etc.
Work with office staff and respond in a timely manner, including but not limited to emails
Be available, punctual, and accountable for meetings, requests from staff, etc.
This is not a traveling superintendent position
H-1B visa status).
We need a seasoned Commercial Superintendent that can hit the road running
