We employ a variety of methods to generate the insights for multiple stakeholders, including product teams, sales, and marketing. This position will focus on Survey research methods. Key job responsibilities: Our client is looking for a Sr. Researcher to support UX. We’re looking for a researcher to explore the world of business customers and generate insights that connect product and advertising experiences to business customers. Launched in 2015, our client aims to do for offices, factories, hospitals, schools, and public agencies what their retail site did for everyday consumers—make buying easier, faster, and more efficient. As a Sr. Researcher, you’ll join a fun, global team of user experience experts taking a fresh-eyed look at the complex world of business purchasing and trying to make it easier and more intuitive for everyone from receptionists to CEOs. Your focus will cover all aspects of research, from learning more about our customers to uncover problems that need to be solved to measuring the impact of our communications. You will work with other researchers to build the skills of the entire UX team to create a research-driven organization.   • What you’ll do:*
  • Plan and execute research using a wide variety of quantitative and qualitative methods with an emphasis on campaign measurement. This position will focus on survey research.
  • Generate insights from survey data and customer feedback.
  • Generate ideas on new or more efficient ways to answer questions that we have about customers.
  • Collaborate with researchers and marketing on research projects.
  • Work across all of our client to drive better research practices and bring attention to business customers.
  • Plan & execute survey research on a wide variety of topics, such as brand, satisfaction, and pricing.
  • Communicate project statuses at recurring cadences, identifying, and troubleshooting issues/roadblocks.
  • Ensure deadlines are communicated to all internal and external parties.
  • A day in the life:*
The day-to-day for this position will be to work with Sales teams to collect data that generates insights that help us understand customer perception, shape communications, and measure impact. This will require finding, sizing, and prioritizing research opportunities; developing study plans for those research opportunities; executing those studies and presenting the findings to stakeholders. *BASIC QUALIFICATIONS*
  • 6+ years of experience in the field of quantitative research.
  • A deep understanding of Market Research, UX research, agile UX, and user-centered design.
  • Broad knowledge of research methodologies and the proven ability to execute the right methodology.
  • Experience across both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*
  • Masters or PhD degree in an empirical psychology field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience with advertising campaign research and measurement.
  • Experience with RITE usability method and an understanding of how to impact design and product decisions in a fast-moving and fast-changing development environment.
  • Training in psychology.
  • Experience in B2B or B2C e-commerce or financial services.
