DESCRIPTION

Key job responsibilities:

Our client is looking for a UX Researcher to support UX. We’re looking for a researcher to explore the world of business customers and generate insights that connect product and advertising experiences to business customers. Launched in 2015, Client Business aims to do for offices, factories, hospitals, schools, and public agencies what their site did for everyday consumers—make buying easier, faster, and more efficient.

As a UX Researcher, you’ll join a fun, global team of user experience experts taking a fresh-eyed look at the complex world of business purchasing and trying to make it easier and more intuitive for everyone from receptionists to CEOs.

What you’ll do:

  • Plan and execute research using a wide variety of qualitative methods
  • Detailed analysis follow up to usability testing
  • Generate ideas on new or more efficient ways to answer questions that we have about customers
  • Collaborate with researchers and marketing on research projects
  • Work across all of Client to drive better research practices and bring attention to business customers
  • Communication with internal & external stakeholders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in UX research with a focus on Qualitative methods
  • A deep understanding of Market Research, UX research, agile UX, and user-centered design
  • Broad knowledge of research methodologies and the proven ability to execute the right methodology
  • Experience across both qualitative and quantitative research methods

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in psychology field, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience in qualitative research and measurement – Including study design, recruiting, moderation, and reporting
  • Experience with RITE usability method and an understanding of how to impact design and product decisions in a fast-moving and fast-changing development environment
  • Training in psychology
  • Experience in B2B or B2C e-commerce or financial services
