The Global Partner Markets team is responsible for servicing 23 licensee and distribution partners throughout the globe. As a geography, we are proud to provide our partners with top tier guidance in regard to Merchandising, Planning & Analytics, Marketing and Strategy as they navigate the Converse business in their regions

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As the Global Partner Markets Brand Merchandiser, you will be responsible for driving the global brand vision alignment for the fully integrated marketplace and own consumer insights for the geography. This role elevates Converse by acting as the voice of the geography into Global Product Merchandising function.

This candidate should have an understanding of the footwear industry and the competitive landscape. You must also possess a proven product merchandising management experience and expertise in understanding, interpreting, and completing the consumer insight and market intelligence to enhance business growth and market share.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

In this role you will be responsible for driving the consumer assortment and consumer insights across the entire integrated marketplace. You will also develop a full consumer strategy inclusive of the full head to toe. In addition, you will be responsible for connecting the consumer with geo product strategy, crafting assortments based on global product line. Ensuring in-season and future executions, consumer geo nuances and financial targets are met within the geographies. Builds and owns the geo's consumer right product line.

You will act as the conduit of information from Global to the Territory Merchants and vice versa with a goal to drive consistency and elevated the consumer experience across the integrated marketplace for Global Partner Markets.

As the Brand Merchandiser you are responsible for driving integrated, profitable, relevant product assortments to the region/territory, which also reflects the segments' vision of the brand and marketplace. **Profile**

WHAT YOU BRING

Merchandising Excellence:

- Franchise, Category, and Classification Management Excellence

- Consumer Journey planning / Translate Consumer & Market Insights into Actionable Plans & Business Outcomes

- Assortment planning & pricing

- Lifecycle Planning Acumen / Line planning and briefing

- Product Creation Excellence & Education / Product Strategy Development

- 5-8+ years' experience working in Footwear or Apparel wholesale/retail business passionate about similar consumer/account base

- 5-8+ years merchandising experience

- 3-5 years experience in presentation driven role

- 3-5 years experience with Visual Merchandising practices and "End in Mind" Retail

MERCHANDISE PLANNING

- Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote skills

- Extremely organized individual to manage complex & fast paced calendar

- Knowledge and understanding of product development, marketing, merchandising and product commercialization

- Displays strong negotiation and influencing capabilities

- Ability to apply business and management expertise to achieve financial and operational objectives

- Proven track record to make decisions guided by brand and financial impact

- Ability to travel 30% of the time

- Speak Second Language a plus
